This Saturday, April 27th....Studio Show!!!!
"Flourishes, Furnishings & Findings" ~An art sale featuring the works of 3
Spokane area artists; Wendy Zupan Bailey, Louise Kodis and Virginia Carter
will take place Saturday, April 27th from 10am-5pm at Wendy's art studio,
located at 2704 S Stone Street in Spokane.
Working with clay, paper and threads, some of Wendy's whimsical sculpted
merriments have a vintage appeal, others are animated puppetry and
delicate curiosities for those who love the art of the fairy tale.
Louise Kodis, working with fabrics will offer flying hot color pieces for
the garden, full blown color objects to hang from the ceiling and a
celebration of one-of-kind greeting cards. For a sneak preview visit her

Virginia Carter's claywork will bring dreams to the waking hours with her
fancy gardens on bowls, platters and cups. Her bird houses will invite
species from far away to come nest awhile. Virginia makes one of a kind,
whimsical, functional pottery and unique sculptural forms.
The show will also introduce the collaborative work of Louise and Wendy as
they present their paper couture....costumed mannequins, girl bags and
decorative furnishings.

Gather your family and friends to make your own special paper doll puppets...All materials are supplied (decorative and vintage papers, brads for joint movements, yarns, ribbons and an eclectic collection of handsome ephemera for decoration). ..You pick the date and time/call for availability and price.
